Volunteering at the Conference

Some volunteer needs are being handled by Central Coast Weavers. If you are available to help with any of the following tasks, you may contact Yvonne Smith, here. Conference attendance is NOT a requirement for volunteers. See needs below:
Classroom Set-up* from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 3
Classroom Set-up* from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 4
Classroom Break-down* from noon until 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 6
*Note: Those who sign up for Classroom Set-up or Breakdown must be able to lift, move and stack 38-pound desks with another person.
There may also be a need for drivers to transport attendees during the conference:
Friday, Saturday and Sunday Mornings (8:30-9:00am): from the Vista Grande dining area or Buena Vista dorms to classrooms.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday Lunchtime: from classrooms to dining area (12:00-12:30pm) and return to classrooms/dorms (1:00-1:30pm)
Friday and Saturday (4:30pm) and Sunday (12:00pm): from classrooms to Buena Vista dorms.

Stipends for Central Coast Weavers attending the 2023 CNCH Conference:
The recipients of six $100 stipends for members of Central Coast Weavers have been selected. Members are also encouraged to apply for a Teach-It-Forward Grant, click here.

This conference will be hosted by the Area 2 Guilds of CNCH, which includes the Central Coast Weavers, Del Oro Spinners and Weavers, Golden Valley Weavers and Spinners, Mother Lode Weavers and Spinners.
