In conjunction with our May Saturday Meeting (May 30), Joanne Hall will present two workshops about Swedish Weaves.
On Friday, May 29 Joanne Hall will talk about “Understanding Countermarch and Draw Looms” with loom demonstrations. This is a good opportunity to learn about these types of looms. The fee for this 1-day workshop is $68.
On Saturday afternoon, Sunday and Monday (May 30-June 1), there will be a “Swedish Arts Weaves” workshop covering five different Swedish Weaves through the use of pick up and half heddle techniques. This workshop is appropriate for both 4 Shaft and Rigid Heddle Looms. The fee for this 2 1/2 day workshop is $175.
Sign ups will be available at the Thursday, February 11 Guild meeting. Space is limited, so bring workshop fees to hold your space. If you cannot attend the Guild meeting this Thursday, contact Patricia Martin (patwove@aol.com). There are no refunds, but you may find a replacement if you are unable to attend.
