SUMMARY:All Guild Saturday Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Our February meeting will be an in person meeting held at the Strawbale Barn in Atascadero\, from 10 am to 12pm. \nThis will be a hands-on\, “Pin-Weaving with Beads” program. This technique is perfect for making delightful necklaces and other woven jewelry.  For more info\, click here \nSome supplies will be provided\, but bring the following items if you have them: \n\nA few yards of cotton\, wool or rayon thread in a few coordinating colors – thread about the size of 5/2 or 10/2 cotton works well; as does embroidery floss. Thrums are perfect for this!\nA metal kitchen fork – this will be used as a beater.\nA few medium size beads that work with your thread colors – Optional: a few small decorative bits to be used as “finials”.\nA very small crochet hook – one that will go through the holes in your beads.\nOne or two large\, blunt needles – used to weave with.\nStraight pins – 30 or so should be enough.\nOptional: you may want to have colored pencils in your yarn colors.\n\nDon’t worry if you don’t have everything on the list\, most things can be shared. \nAttendees are encouraged to bring a lunch and stay a while longer to work on your project.  Show & Tell items are always welcome. \nFor more information\, contact Barby Wunsch.
