This year\, due to Covid concerns\, our January meeting will be a Zoom meeting\, “Pinkies Up!”. \nGet dressed up\, wear something handwoven if you can… make yourself a pot of your favorite tea\, put out a few biscuits  and enjoy the party. Members are invited to share their memories of tea parties past\, including photos of tea service\, table settings\, and other items\, especially those that are handwoven.  Favorite recipes are welcome.   Photos or memories of tea parties you have hosted or attended would be especially nice.  Please send your pictures with accompanying text to irene@kcbx.net by January 24th so that they may be included in a Power Point presentation\, then  join us on Saturday\, January 29th to talk about your items and enjoy other guild members’ contributions.  For more information\, contact Irene at irene@kcbx.net.

DESCRIPTION:All-Guild Holiday Meeting and Potluck\nWe will have all of our traditional activities: Show and Tell\, a Star-Making Project\, a delicious pot luck lunch and an optional gift exchange. Also included will be a special door prize raffle — everyone will get tickets at the door! \nPARKING: There is a small lot behind the Avila Communtiy Center\, shared with the Post Office.  We have only 12 passes for this lot so they will be reserved for carpools of 3 or more and for those with mobility issues.  There is a large municipal lot close-by and limited street parking.  Parking fees for the municipal lot will be reimbursed by the guild. \nBRING: Something for Show & Tell\, your favorite holiday potluck dish to share. Please bring dishes\, utensils\, and drinkware for your personal use.\nFOR THE STAR PROJECT: Bring scissor and a large eyed needle. Everything else will be provided.\nOPTIONAL GIFT EXCHANGE: Bring a modest\, wrapped gift; something handmade or useful to a weaver or spinner.\nFOOD BANK DONATIONS: We will take up a collection to donate to Food Banks in SLO and SB Counties.
