DESCRIPTION:This month our meeting will be held from 9:30 am to 2 pm at the Strawbale Barn in Atascadero. We will create painted warps of cellulose materials (cotton\, rayon\, tencel\, linen\, bamboo\, hemp) using Fiber-Reactive dyes.  You may mix fiber types and sizes. Participants will be using as inspiration a printed image or something natural like a shell or a rock.   It is important that you prepare at home and bring necessary materials so please refer to additional information here. DESCRIPTION:Our Guild is working on two collaborative entries: The Kentucky Derby Hat (see page 23 of the Handbook) and the Kentucky Derby Inspired Scarecrow (see page 26 of the Handbook). All are invited to Becky’s home to start working on the Derby hat. Bring light weight hand woven scraps\, inkle bands and such to use to start the hat.
