SUMMARY:ALL GUILD THURSDAY MEETING
DESCRIPTION:This month our meeting will be a hybrid meeting\, at the United Methodist Church at 1515 Fredericks Street in San Luis Obispo from 9:45am to noon.  All members will be sent a notice to attend by Zoom a day or two before the meeting.  Our program will be “The History of Indigo Production”\, presented by John Marshall.  More Info here.  Members are encouraged to share items and send Show and Tell photos with descriptions to ccwshowtell@gmail.com\, including info about yarn\, sett\, etc.  We will also have a raffle and a business meeting.   After the meeting\, there will be a trunk show presented by our speaker. SUMMARY:John Marshall Indigo Dying Workshop
DESCRIPTION:“INDIGO” with John Marshall. We will spend three\ndays with John sharing his knowledge of the dye plant and how we can use the\ncolorant in several different ways on cloth.\nThe workshop will be held outdoors in Else Drengler’s garden\, Arroyo Grande.\nThere are no preparations for the class but basic materials like gloves\, some\nbuckets and a pop-up shades will be required and a list will be sent to\nparticipants closer to the date. \nContact Patricia Martin (patwove@aol.com) if you are interested in the\nworkshop. A list is forming and a drawing for 12 spots will happen at the May\nThursday meeting. If one of those chosen is unable to make it\, a “second-\nchance” drawing will occur in September. \nFee: $495.
