Our October meeting will be a Zoom Meeting.  A few days before the meeting, every member with email will be sent an invitation to attend with a link to join the meeting.  The meeting will open at 9:45 am to allow time for people to join and the actual meeting will begin at 10:00 am.

Our program, “Uzbek Ikat:The Personal Saga of an Exceptional Cloth”, will be presented by Marilyn Romatka of Taproot Folk Arts. Marilyn will take us on a virtual journey to Uzbekistan with her multi-media presentation. We will see the complete process of producing these unique textiles, how each thread is manipulated, dyed and woven into exquisite  cloth.

In addition to the program, we will have the a business meeting and Show & Tell – please send photos of your items to Wendy-Marie wmteichert@gmail.com  ASAP so she can have them ready for the meeting.  Guidelines for photos here.
