“FORAGING AT THE BEACH!”  We will meet in the parking lot for San Simeon Beach off Hwy 1, at 10:00 AM.  Cari Curtis, a local foraging expert, will help us find and collect materials to use as natural dyes, embellishments, and weaving materials. She will share useful information and answer questions as we explore the beach and surrounding areas in search of unique materials. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a bag to collect items. This will be easy, flat walking.   We will have Saturday meetings this fall where we will use our foraged materials to dye yarn and fiber and create woven wall hangings woven with natural materials.  For more information about this meeting, contact Barby Wunsch.
