You probably know that Wendy-Marie weaves lovely and interesting items and finds fascinating presenters for our Thursday meetings. What we might not know is that she is also a talented calligrapher. This program will merge her two interests as she illustrates the connection between Text and Textiles, a connection that most of us might never have considered. Did you know that the word “text” comes from Latin “textus” which means “a woven thing”? Don’t miss this intriguing and informative program!
