This meeting will be a hybrid meeting.  Members may participate on Zoom or In Person.

Our October meeting will be a hybrid meeting, beginning at 9:45 am. You may attend in person at the San Luis Obispo United Methodist Church, 1515 Fredricks Street. A Zoom invitation will be sent to all members a few days before the meeting.  Our program will be “COTTON FROM FIELD TO LOOM” presented remotely by Joan Ruane.  She will tell us all about cotton, from harvesting cotton, ginning, classification, and processing lint into sliver to making yarn. Joan will also discuss weaving and knitting with handspun cotton and show photos of projects woven with spun cotton. We will have a brief business meeting, an in person raffle and show and tell.  Members are encouraged to submit photos of their show and tell items to Wendy-Marie ahead of time as it is sometimes difficult to show items in person.
